Day 38, Nicene Creed, 30th Line

I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins

As Christians, we may disagree about several details of our faith—even the circumstances that should surround a person’s Baptism—but one thing we tend to agree upon across the board is that Baptism is extremely important to our relationship with God. It marks our souls for God’s gift of grace and salvation. And as we mentioned yesterday that there is only one Church, we now acknowledge there is also only one Baptism that unites us all to Christ and each other.
